Private Acting Coaching

Coach privately with Adam Smith Jr., an actor, producer, director, and acting teacher with more than 20 years of experience in theater, film, and television.
Private acting coaching can cover a range of needs, including self-tape and film/TV audition coaching, scene work, graduate school and conservatory audition preparation, career coaching, and ongoing talent development.
Each session is customized to the individual actor and what they want to accomplish. Beginners might focus on developing their work on camera, while experienced actors may work on an upcoming audition or self-tape, professional material, career strategy, or a specific challenge they are encountering in their acting.
Adam works with each actor to identify what they are trying to create, what may be getting in the way, and the tools that can help them accomplish it. The goal is not to make actors work in a particular way, but to help them develop greater command of their own work.
Adam’s clients have booked roles on series including FBI, Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Power Book II: Ghost, and Marvel’s Daredevil, and have appeared in films including Hell House LLC, Gossamer Folds, and Grounded in Love opposite Danica McKellar.
